It was the Billy Blacker Memorial competition at Silverwood Golf Club on Saturday, and the winner with 42 pts was Martin Mc Cann, he had a mixed front nine with two pars at the 3rd and 4th holes, one triple bogey at the 6th hole, and six single bogeys, his back nine had two birdies at the 10th and 14th holes, two pars at the 13th and 18th holes one double bogey at the 16th hole and four single bogeys to win by two points.

In 2nd place with 40 pts was Alan Beattie he has three pars at the 3rd 4th and 8th holes and a mixture of bogeys and double bogeys on his remaining front nine, along with a back nine that included another three pars at the 12th 14th and 17th holes, and six bogeys.

In 3rd place with another 40 pts was Mark Gomba, Mark had four pars at the 2nd 4th 7th and 8th holes, one double bogey at the 6th hole and four single bogeys, his back nine had one par at the 11th hole, two double bogeys at the 13th and 16th holes, and six single bogeys.

The gross prize was collected by Ethan Headley with a one over par 73, he had a level par front nine that contained two birdies at the 7th and 8th holes, one double bogey at the 5th hole, and six pars, his back nine had one birdie at the 14th hole, two single bogeys at the 12th and 13th holes, and another six pars.

4th place went to Kieran Murray with 39 pts he had four birdies on his card at the 4th 13th 14th and 18th holes, seven pars, five single bogeys, one double bogey at the 15th hole and one no-score at the 7th hole.

5th place went to Jonathan Kelly with 38 pts.

The senior prize went to Francis Kelly with 38pts

The junior prize was won by Nathan Thomson with 38pts.
