Local Rules

1. Out of Bounds (Rule 27-1)

(A) Beyond any hedge or fence bounding the course.
(B) Beyond the hedge to the right of the 1st “Fairway”.
(C) The road (Boconnell Lane) and beyond, during play of the 1st, 2nd and 7th holes.
(D) The area of the 7th “fairway”, from beyond the water hazard to behind the 6th teeing ground during play of the 5th hole.
(E) The “Par 3 Course” to the right of the 7th, 8th and 9th “fairways” and beyond the water hazard behind the 8th green.
(F) The area of the 17th “fairway” from behind the 17th green towards the 17th teeing grounds, during play of the 18th hole.

ALL AREAS ARE DEFINED BY WHITE POSTS OR STAKES


2. Water Hazards. (Rule 26)

All rivers, drains and ponds on the course.

Lateral Water Hazards

(A) The ditch that runs parallel to the left of the 3rd “fairway”, the ditch to the right
of the 3rd green, the ditches to the right of the 4th teeing ground and beyond
the 4th green.
(B) The ditches parallel to the right of the 8th “fairway” and beyond the 8th green.
(C) The ditch to the right of the 9th green.

3. If a ball strikes Electric Poles or Cables the player MUST disregard that stroke, abandon the ball and play another ball from as near as possible to the spot from which the original ball was played in accordance with Rule 20-5.

4. Obstructions. (Rule 24)

(A) All fixed sprinkler heads are Immovable Obstructions. (Rule 24-2)
(B) All stakes ON the course are deemed to be Immovable Obstructions (Rule 24-2)
(C) Stones in the bunkers are Movable Obstructions.
